Refractions in Pane

As soon as greatness blooms it becomes a part of our being. Whether that be the longing of youth, the adventures of troubled mindedness or the rolls of film that we hold oh so dear to our hearts. This period of time has led me to understand that anything we love, loved, hold or held dear to us, impacted us through positive or negative inflictions, or through the longing of our nostalgic days of old create a permanent home inside of us and remain there as long as we allow ourselves to remember. We must live in the moment of these wishy washy waves in order to leave our paddles in the boat, but in the end everything that we miss with all of our hearts, all the times we thought we would be kings or queens, all the memories we wish we could revisit just to feel that “feeling” of what it was in that specific times moment of being. It is all inside of us. We can wonder no more where did the good times go... They are what we are because we let them become real and in turn we must remain the same... Real!
“....Shit goes where shit deserves”

All songs were created out of the spontaneity of pure emotional distress. No songs were harmed during the making of this LP. In fact they were all products of stream of consciousness expressionism. All songs were captured by my many cell phone casette-o-phones between August 2018 and March 2019. No song was altered in any way, shape, or form between the moment of capture and the moment of professional recording. This is a true piece of actual emotion caught in its natural environment and reproduced professionally.

A Word From Our Fans

Good music is able to reach a place inside of you that is hidden from the world. Great music gives you a voice, a connection that can bring that hidden part of you to the surface. If I could describe Nick's music with one word it wouldn't be good, it wouldn't be great, it would be extraordinary. He is a maestro painting his legacy with haunting chords and thought provoking themes that shatter mainstream ideals of modern music. You can literally feel the love, pain, joy, and heartbreak that go into each melody. Bringing in his own style of blues and soul to modern indie riffs makes this modern day Jim Morrison a gem to the Atlanta music scene. Customer 1Jason Vorhees
There’s only one musician who is up earlier than me... Nick Nickerson(his actual name). He is the gifted shaman poet, who has yet to struggle for what to say or how to say it. Spitting gold? I’d say so. Customer 2James Hall
Where can we begin and end with words to describe such an eclectic singer and songwriter as Nick Nickerson? His many projects take you from listening to a guy down by the river with his acoustic guitar and twangy voice to a wild charismatic maniac on stage screaming about what only Nick or one of his alter egos and God knows. Somewhere amid these wildly different and convulsing sounds is you, the listener, captured with a little piece of this artist, Spittin’ Gold, right from the corner of a bright spot lit up in his mind, to yours. I hope you enjoy listening to all he has captured in time and taking it in as much as I have enjoyed the ride along and always curiously peaking in to see what I may have missed coming out of his curious head and heart next.
